In all the years the AMEN House has served Scott County, Covid was the biggest challenge we ever faced.  Out of that challenge came the opportunity to apply for ARPA Funding (American Rescue Plan Act).  These federal dollars entrusted to us by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Scott County Fiscal Court & Georgetown City Government made it possible for us to purchase this new property.  Scott County Fiscal Court sponsored the AMEN House in the application of a Community Block Grant to build a new food pantry on this site.  The plans you see below include the 2nd phase of that new structure.  The funding for that expansion has not been secured, but someday there will be a soup kitchen that hosts a culinary school on that site.
